Individual Associate Member

Qualifications

Qualifications

  1. Applicant should be working in the retail, service or related industry and should have 7 years or above related working experience; or

  2. Applicant should be studying or researching in retailing, servicing or related fields and should have 7 years or above related working experience; or

  3. Applicant or staff member of HKRMA Full Members, with 5 years or above working experience in retail, service or related industry, and with recommendation by a Full Member.

Membership Fee

Membership Fee

An annual subscription fee of HK$1,000.00 (1st January to 31st December) shall apply for Individual Associate Members.

NOTE

  1. All subscriptions shall be due on the 1st day of January each year.

  2. If such subscription is not paid within 30 days from the date of a request to remit the subscription to the Association, the membership of such member shall be void, unless he satisfies the Executive Committee that the delay in payment was due to absence from Hong Kong or other sufficient cause.

  3. Application for 1-year membership (apply in January to June), the member will be required to pay the annual fee HK$1,000.

  4. Application for 18-month membership (apply in July to December), the member will be required to pay 1.5 years of the annual fee HK$1,500.

Rights:

  • Individual Associate Members shall have no voting rights at the Annual General Meeting.

  • Individual Associate Members shall be allowed to participate in related sub-committees of the Association by invitation only.

  • Individual Associate Members shall enjoy specific benefits of the Association at member rates

  • Join tailored activities organized for Individual Associate Members, such as meeting CEOs, training and sharing by experts and trade elites to enhance career and personal development.

Market Information:

Individual Associate Members shall receive regular copies from time to time, including:

  • Complimentary copy of survey and research findings conducted by the Association, as well as trade-related information and relevant legislation updates, etc.

  • Free access to the Association's position papers on trade-related issues

  • Complimentary copy of the Association's regular publications, such as annual yearbook, quarterly newsletters, monthly e-Newsletters, circulars, and market information, as well as information on projects or programmes organized from time to time by the Association.

  • Discount offers for the Association's publications (e.g. Report on Manpower Situation of the HK Retail Industry)

Education and Training:

  • Discounted admission to the Association's activities, including Retail Conference, workshops, networking activities, business matching activity, seminars and Annual Dinner, etc
